2026 - Karate Registration - Early Bird

In creating our recreational programs Tay Valley Township’s aim is to provide an environment for our youth to have fun while also learning valuable life lessons and skills.  Our goal is to instill the values we feel our residents hold dear such as honesty, integrity, team play and sportsmanship.

Our instructor Niki Greenstreet strives to ensure the program is not only educational, but also fun for all participants.

Classes are held weekly on Monday's at Maberly Community Hall 

Groups may be adjusted slightly according to registration 

PREFERENCE GIVEN TO TAY VALLEY TAXPAYERS

Fall Session (2026)

Early Bird Registration Fee (until September 1, 2026):

1 session per person: $100       1 session per family (2+): $200

Registration Fee (after September 1, 2026):

1 session per person: $125       1 session per family (2+): $250

Note: No Refunds are provided after the first scheduled night of any Recreation Program or Activitiy.

Fall Session: September 28 - December 21

5:15 to 6:00 p.m. – Mini Samurai (4-7 years old)
6:15 to 7:15 p.m. – White belts (8 years old and older)/ Yellow and Orange Belts

Participant Requirements

Recreational activities and programs are coordinated for the enjoyment of all participants, and shall NOT be considered as supervised Child Care Services.  All children must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian for the duration of the activity or program.

Participants are required to show up in comfortable, non-constricting clothing.

Personal Information

Waiver

In consideration of Tay Valley Township permitting me and/or the person(s) listed above to participate in the activity(ies) listed above, I, for myself and for all minors named herein, assume full responsibility for understanding and ensuring that safe practices are followed in the activity noted above and hereby release, discharge, indemnify and save harmless Tay Valley Township and its agents and employees from any and all claims by whomsoever made, damages, liabilities or loss arising from injury to or death of myself and/or those listed above by reason of my, his, her, our and/or their participation in the listed activity(ies).
